About these terms

These terms cover Martha's Wine Trail at trail.marthasvineyard.es, run by [company name, address, NIF]. By using the app you agree to them. Spanish consumer law always applies alongside them and takes precedence.

Adults only

Wine Trail is about wine and only for people aged 18 or over. By using it you confirm you are.

What Wine Trail is

A personal wine journal: log the wines you drink, note what you smell and taste, collect D.O. stamps and compare notes with Martha. It's free to use. If we ever add paid features, we'll say so clearly first and never charge you without your agreement.

Your account

• You can use Wine Trail without an account, but your journal then lives only in that phone's browser. Save it with your email to keep it.
• The sign-in link we email you is how you get in, so keep your email safe.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile. It permanently removes your journal.

Your notes are yours

Your tasting notes, words and scores belong to you. You let us store and process them to run the app, including sending them to our AI provider to write Martha's comparisons (see the privacy policy). We don't publish them or show them to other members.

Wines you add (name, producer, region, grapes) join the shared catalogue so others can find them, never with your name.

Martha, and AI

Martha is a character. Her notes, comparisons and picks are written with the help of AI and are opinions for enjoyment and learning, not professional advice. They can be wrong, and so can wine details found automatically, so do check the label.

Using it fairly

Please don't misuse or try to break into the app, copy its content or catalogue in bulk, or add wines that aren't real or content that's offensive or unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

What we own

The app, its design, Martha, the Trail Pin, the illustrations, the aroma photographs and the text are ours or used with permission. Use them for your own enjoyment of the app, not for anything else.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Wine Trail running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change features. If we ever close it, we'll give you notice and a way to download your notes. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for choices you make based on Martha's notes; nothing here limits your rights as a consumer or liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app first. They're governed by Spanish law, and as a consumer you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Contact: info@marthasvineyard.es.
